Check-In Request

You can check-in prior to arriving to the event. This does not require pre-paying for the event. If you purchase a ticket, you need to generate a check-in request Here.

Check in link will be created before the event

Pre-Registering

If you pre-register, you must also generate your check-in request.

If you pre-register, you may arrive on site at 2 PM and pick up your envelop at ops. Anyone who does not pre-register must wait in the parking lot until 3 PM.

If you purchase 10 additional build, you receive 1 Blood Note to be assigned to any character you own that you choose.

You may pre-register even if you think you may not make the event. You will still earn the build.

Those who do not attend the event do not earn a self-teach, Blood Note, or other perks.

If you pre-register and wish to purchase additional build at the door, you may do so. However, you will have to wait in the regular line.

Swapping Characters

You will be allowed an addition character switch during the event. This may include playing a third character.

Non-Attending Registration

You will be allowed an additional character switch during the event. This may include playing a third character.

You may still purchase build for the event even if you do not attend. You will not receive any additional attendance bonuses.

If you purchase the base attendance, additional back-buy build is available at a later date.

Spending Assistance Points

Only National Assistance Points can be spent at a National Event. AP Build may only be converted at check-in with AP that is already in the system.

Liability Waivers

If you have not filled out a waiver with Imagine Nation Collective LLC (NJ, NY, or last year’s Downfall), you will need to fill one out. You can do this ahead of time and email it to DownfallDR@gmail.com. Make sure to list your emergency contact as someone not at the event.

Self-Teach

If you purchase 10 build for a single character at Downfall, you receive a self-teach on that character. This skill is not available until the next 12s, and Professions become available at the next event.

All other restrictions still apply, and the self-teach must be added on at check-in and signed/approved by a Downfall Director or Network Directors before entering play. Self-teaches not used at check-in will be lost.

Check-In Skills

There will be no check-in skills at Downfall. Certain Skills may be used in certain modules during the weekend.

No unique item cards may be brought to Downfall.

Cooper’s Lake Campground is an amazing site. However, it is a tenting-only site. This means that you must bring a tent, or share a tent with a friend at this event.

Pop-up trailers and RVs can be rented for the event and parked on site. There are multiple spots, all with power and in many cases with sewer hook-ups.

Pop-ups can be rented here: Brads Camper Rental

In addition, you may again rent yurts at this event. This includes full set-up and takedown of the yurt, in addition to the yurt itself. Once yurt rentals are finalized, a link will be provided for more information.

There will be reserved spots for genre camping. Everything else will be non-genre camping and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

If you do not wish to tent, the campsite is situated near civilization and has multiple hotel options. We don’t have a special block set up, but we have provided links to a few, close hotels:

Any hotels near the Grove City Outlet Shops are brand new.

Site map

You can download a map with an overview of the camp site.

Players who need medical/OOG sleep space will be able to set up in a quiet area, with connections for CPAP and other items that require electricity. If you would like to request medical sleep space, please send your request and current doctor’s note to DownfallDR@gmail.com. A doctor’s note must contain confirmation of need for medical sleep as well as clearance for all over larp-related activities.

Important: You will still need to bring a tent and other sleeping arrangements for yourself. We will have a space set aside, close by power for those who need it. Be sure to bring anything you need for your requirements past that.

NPC Ops

NPC Ops is located near the entrance with a large sign out front. This is the location to report to for your NPC block.

Please arrive here 10 minutes before your block starts.

Dress in basic blacks with no character makeup. Do not arrive in your character’s costume or “street” clothes. Zombies don’t wear jeans and a band t-shirt.

NPCs are welcome to bring a water bottle, snack, and any needed meds. Do not bring valuables, as we are not responsible for keeping track of your belongings.

Do not bring your character sheet. You will check in and out of your shift with the marshal at the desk.

Full Time NPCs

All full-time NPCs need to be ready for an incredibly physically demanding weekend. ALL FULL TIME NPCs will be assigned to Steve Meyer for the duration of the weekend.

This includes eating, sleeping, and traveling as NPCs for the majority of the weekend without restriction to hours of operation and/or engagement.

This will include extensive lifting, running, carrying, and physical labor combined with extensive costume and makeup applications.

There will be a cap for Full Time NPCs, and full-time NPCs do need to pay a lesser ticket price since we need to pay by the head for the site.

Crafting

All crafting, item card creation, or changes are done at the “Post Office.” This is an in-character location in the downtown area (moved from last year), so please stay in-character while waiting in line.

Crafting projects must be brought to the Post Office on a one project basis. You will be able to hand in one project or three prints per visit. One project can mean crafting an item all the way, making a batch of one brew (10 servings), or making the components and using them to make an item.

Scrounge and chop cards can be turned in at the Post Office

You can send a letter from this location, entirely IC.
